The Amours en Cages at the Brixen Water Light Festival

Porté par le Vent had the pleasure of participating in the embellishment of the streets of Brixen, Italy, with our light installation « Amours en cages”.

This special collaboration with the city of Brixen has allowed us to create a magical atmosphere by illuminating the streets of this charming locality.

The « Amours en cages” amazed passer-bys, offering a unique light show that transformed the urban space into a real fairy tale.

The Luminéoles at the Festival of Lights Zagreb

Béziers – Summer illumination

Béziers: summer illuminations of the city center from July 1 to August 30, 2020

Les Amours en Cage, suspended in the trees of the Allées Paul Riquet, brought a poetic atmosphere during the day and illuminated the nights of summer.

Around the foot of the statue of Louis XIV, Place Bellecour is transformed into a vast illuminated meadow. Strange flying creatures – the Luminéoles – inhabit a field planted with 500 pampas grasses. These 4-metre tall glowing plants reflect the light, creating a veritable tableau vivant, first a wild meadow then a bizarre ocean. The grasses and birds interact in a colourful dance. No bigger than ants in this oversized natural world, the spectators gaze upwards in fascination.

BRIGHT BRUSSELS festival of light – BRUXELLES (Belgium)

For this « not to be missed » event of light, the Luminéoles and the Amours en Cage make their show.

An aerial ballet illuminates the beautiful capital of Belgium, a magical walk springs up along the tree-lined avenues of the capital.

Lilu Light Festival Lucerne (Switzerland)

9 – 19 January 2020

From January 9 to 19, 2020, the city of Lucerne is adorned with Lights wonderfull.

A poetic walk in the heart of a path of Amours en Cage, a fantastic and luminous immersion in the heart of the city.

Suspended overhead along the Rue de la République, 300 physalis twinkle and change shades in the wind, as if stirred by an invisible breeze.

The public’s gaze is drawn upwards to admire these lush natural lanterns – perforated or ribbed, lily-shaped or open wide to reveal their glowing heart. Between the Place de la République and Cordeliers, they come alive, responding to the people below and glittering to the tune of a gentle melody creating a unique musical harmony.

An interactive, musical dreamscape in the heart of the city.

LUNEVILLE CASTLE (FR)

For the 8^th edition of the Gardens of Light in majestic Lunéville Castle in France, Porté par le Vent created a poetic light scenography for an incredible garden.

In this magnificent setting, the areal kite family of Porté par le Vent expended with the arrival of the Pikooks, a pair of large and luminous birds. They made their first release after their creation for the Lyon Light Festival in December 2017.

The Luminéoles did accompany them for an areal and poetic ballet in the middle of a vegetal and aquatic scenography composed of Light crystal spheres, luminous reeds and coloured water lens.

White Night – MELBOURNE (Australia)

First trip to Australia with 3 Luminéoles for the great and magic White Night !

The city was sublimed for a night, adorned with playful and poetic lights and performances. With its 6th edition, White Night Melbourne is the busiest event of its kind.

MURTEN LICHT FESTIVAL – Light festival (CH)

17 – 28 JANUARY 2018

Porté par le Vent was part of Murtenlichtfestival in Switzerland which welcomed more than 65 000 visitors.

In spite of a capricious weather, the magic of light happened once again for spectators that were in force to discover the programmation and its various sound and light art installations and mappings.
